As an Insect Investigator, you will complete the following tasks:

1. Choose an insect or arachnid and research it. You can use the websites in the resources section and books. You will record the information you find out on the graphic organizer.

2. Draw a picture of the Anatomy of your insect or arachnid.

3. Draw a picture of the Life Cycle

Step 1: Choose an insect or arachnid.

Pick one insect or arachnid to learn information about. Step 2: Research your insect or arachnid.

Use the graphic organizer (Insect Information Web.doc)to find out about its habitat, diet, and lifespan.

Process Process #2 --- Draw the Anatomy Step 1: Learn about the body parts of your insect or arachnid. Go to the websites to learn about the body of your insect or arachnid. Step 2: Draw a picture of it and label it.

Insectmania - Bug Pixels Evaluate 2 of the drawings. Use the Evaluation Page.doc from Mrs. Domino to give your opinion.

Use pencils, crayons, or markers to draw a picture of

your insect or arachnid. Or you could use KidPix or the Paint program to draw your picture.

Label all the parts.
