the pioneers did. Along the trail, you’ll enjoy views of the surrounding mountains (some frosted with snow even in July), thickly forested slopes, pristine mountain streams, and Lake Estes down below. You may also see animals such as coyotes, elk, deer, longhorn cattle, and “Bob” the bobcat grazing on the ranch. The Estes Park Stables location was the first Som-brero ranch location in the area. Its convenient location makes it easy to slip into the saddle and ride off into the wild country along scenic trails. Price includes transportation, trail ride and gear. Bring money for lunch, homemade ice cream and a quick visit to the shops in Estes on the way home.

April 16 - Front Range Beer Tour, $10

Colorado’s craft brewing heri-tage and reputation as the country’s ground zero for small-batch artisan breweries make us the envy of beer-loving residents of other states. More than 10 percent of the nation’s craft breweries can be found in Colorado, which is quite an impressive statistic given that the state is home to less than 2 percent of the country’s popu-lation. Colorado is home to nearly 230 established breweries. Colora-dans didn’t invent the concept of a craft brewery, but they do get credit for perfecting the art of craft beer. This time we are hitting Avery Brew-ing Company, Boulder Beer and if we have time, Left Hand.

April 23 - Go Kart Racing (SAPI), $50

Unser Karting & Events offers a unique indoor go kart racing experi-ence guaranteed to raise your pulse rate, start the adrenaline flowing, and foster some friendly competition among friends and family. Our track and high performance racing karts provide a challenge to experienced drivers looking to hone their skills and improve lap times, while pro-viding new or inexperienced drivers with the ability to gain confidence and push their limits in a comfortable and safe environment. Whether you’re an experienced driver or beginner, we will have the training and equipment you’ll need to look like a pro out on the track.

April 28 - May 1 - MOAB (SAPI), $50

Moab has some of the most in-teresting and unique terrain of any mountain biking destination. The riding here tends to lean toward challenging to extremely challenging with big descents, rocky trails with big technical moves, and many long epic rides to choose from. A clas-sic example is the famous Slickrock trail - a multiple hour mountain bike ride ENTIRELY on smooth rock that makes you feel as if you’re riding on the moon! Explore the beautiful scenery around Arches National Park. We are camping! Bring your own bike or take one of ours. Priority goes to single airmen. Bring your camera, hiking shoes and bike gear for two solid days of some of the best trails in the country! There are a variety of trails for all skill levels in this area.
