November 27th—28th: Office closed! Happy Thanksgiving!

December 2nd: UK Family and Consumer Sciences Extension Centennial event in

Lexington, KY on UK’s campus — several county leaders will be attending! Watch WSAZ!

December 5th, 10 AM—2 PM: Homemaker Holiday Crafting Extravaganza at the OSCAR

(Round Robin style crafting — see flyer in this newsletter for more information)

December 6th, 1-4 PM: Enchanted Christmas with Belle from Disney’s Beauty and the

Beast at the Stafford House (see flyer in this newsletter for more information) and

Holiday Kickoff — Free Stafford House tours, drinks, and cookies for all adults!

December 8th, 10:30 AM: Homemaker Holiday Meal (Snow Date—Dec. 19th)

— Remember to bring auction items and potluck dishes to go with ham dinner!

December 9th, 5 PM: Mystery Dinner Theatre at Stafford House, $15 — call to register!

December 10th: District 1 Staff Meeting in Boyd County — all staff will be out of office

December 12th: District 1 FCS Staff holiday retreat hosted by Johnson County!

December 15th—19th: Holiday meals available for reservations—turkey, dressing, and

all the fixin’s for $15 each, children’s meal for $10 each, or soup-n-sandwich for $5 each

December 18th, 10 AM and 5 PM: Winter Wonderland watercolor painting class at

OSCAR, $10 per person, call to register!

December 25th—January 2nd: Office closed! Happy holidays and Happy New Year!

January 17th, 5-7 PM: Children’s Holiday Disney Princess Ball at the OSCAR featuring

Belle from Beauty and the Beast. All children are invited to dress as Disney characters

and enjoy snacks, dance, make ornaments, take pictures, and more! $10 for each child.

January 9th, 10 AM: Homemaker Council meeting (snow date: January 16th)
