Establishing Media Relationships– IHA’s Inspired Home Press Events provide

IHA members and exhibitors opportunities to promote their new products to topconsumer and trade journalists and bloggers.

Each four-hour event showcases housewares-focused product introductions, sneak previews anddemonstrations, giving participants time to establish connections with key media and generate newscoverage for their brands and products. The International Home + Housewares Show Preview is held in

January in New York City and features 60 exhibitors from all Show categories. In June, the New York event offerseditors a peek at new products for the second half of the year and the holiday selling season.

Exhibiting companies receive:n One-on-one opportunity to demonstrate and explain your products to 50-60

consumer and trade editors and bloggers.

n 6-foot table and electricity to demonstrate your products; no booth set-up needed.

Every March the world’s mostimportant professionals gather todo business at Chicago’s state-of-

the-art McCormick Place Exposition Center.As the industry’s not-for-profit tradeassociation, IHA is charged by itsmembership with creating a value-ladenevent that brings together buyers andsellers in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. The International Home +Housewares Show is owned by thehousewares industry, is directed by a Boardof IHA-member chief executives andoperated as a benefit to the industry.
