SLING INSPECTIONS & SAFETY SEMINAR

DGI Supply will bring factory-trained Lift-All employees to your site to per-form Sling Inspections and/or Safety Seminars.

Sling InspectionsOSHA Regulations require that all chain slings receive a thorough inspection at least once per year by a com-petent person. You now have the opportunity to have a comprehensive and documented sling inspection per-formed by a factory-trained Lift-All representative on all of your slings. Chain Slings, Wire Rope Slings, Web Slings, Roundsling, and Wire Mesh Slings can all be inspected and documented in one survey by a repre-sentative from the only company that makes them all, Lift-All Company.

The Inspection Procedure• Each sling is individually recorded and reported by location, serial number (if available), size, type, reach and condition.• If desired, we will affix warning tags to those slings found to be damaged.• A typewritten sling survey report will be submitted to you for your records, showing the above informa- tion, along with any recommendations we may have for improving your sling life and lifting safety.• If you wish to repair or replace any of the damaged slings, we will provide cost estimates to do so.

Sling inspections not only help to ensure safe lifting equipment, but also increase employee awareness of sling safety, creating a safer workplace for all. Call DGI Supply at 800-923-6255 to arrange your Sling Safety Inspection today.

Safety Seminars

Lift-All Company offers a Safety in Lifting seminar. A Lift-All representative will come to your location with the Lift-All’s video ‘Safety in Lifting’, and discuss sling information that is appropriate to your employees.

Safety in Lifting Topics1. Sling Categories2. Planning a safe lift3. Inspection procedures for slings4. Repair information5. Care and operating practicesIn addition to the basic information covered in the vid-eo, the seminar also provides a chance for your em-ployees to ask questions concerning the use of slings in their job, for example:• Are they using the best sling for their application?• How could they make their slings last longer?

The seminar offers you the opportunity to improve your employee’s knowledge of slings and stimulate their awareness of sling and lifting safety.

Call DGI Supply at 800-923-6255 to arrange your Safety in Lifting seminar today.
