General scenario of the present job market
Civil service and national defense are the areas of attraction for many fresh graduates with traditional education
The graduates with applied education mostly go for private sector.
Social sector is unable to attract quality graduates at entry level jobs.
Social mobilizer is the job on highest offer as an entry level in social sector organizations.

General scenario of the present job market Community-based project supervisor or
coordinator is the job offered for the people who have gained experience in junior positions based in the communities.
Project manager positions are offered for more skilled, competent and mature people.
Nepotism, favorism, inclusion, diversity and empowerment also randomly affect the selection of right candidates almost in all sectors.

Unemployment in Nepal As of date, there is not a single and inclusive
study conducted in Nepal to trace the actual unemployment rate in the country.
Based on CBS, Nepal exploration of the unemployed labor workers seeking jobs, the average unemployment rate of Nepal is just 3%, do you believe it?
Neither any social sector organizations have traced it.

issues influencing the recruitment as a result of a big mass diverse population remaining out of mainstream.
Gender and disability are the primary determinants of today’s concern.
Caste-ethnicity, race, color, nationality, religion, marital status, veteran citizens, age, sexual orientation, etc. are other equally posing issues worldwide.

defense is based on defined system. The selection in private sector is more based on
kinship. Social sector has maintained image for more
systematic and practical approach of selection. You may have to go through a number of steps
including initial application screening, cognitive and behavioral tests, interviews, referral checks, job-based demonstrations, test of team work skills, or head hunting without any tests if your competence is publicly appreciated.
