Automatic Installation with Internet Explorer1. Before you can start the installation, you must check the security settings of Internet
Explorer. Go to Settings - Internet settings
2. Go to ”Security”. Make sure that ”Enable Protected Mode” is disabled.
Install Cisco AnyConnect Client 1 Compiled by: Gerrit Rohde
3. Go to: https://vpn.rwth-aachen.de. Enter Group: ”webvpn”; Username: ”UserID”(e.g. ab123456); Password: ”VPN-Password”.
4. The installation will start automatically. Please agree any occurring permissionrequests.

5. The AnyConnect client will automatically connect to VPN after the installation iscomplete.

Manual Installation1. If the installation fails, you can manually install the AnyConnect Client. Use the link:
”Windows 7/Vista/64/XP”.
2. ”Run” the installation file.

4. Choose ”Install”.
5. Run the client after the installation is complete. Enter the URL: ”vpn.rwth-aachen.de”and connect.

7. The connection will be established.
