Install Oracle OSB 11.1.1.7 On Linux

This Document Will Describe How to Install Oracle Service Bus on Linux 6.4/64bit, I am using Weblogic 10.3.6.

OSB Need Oracle Enterprise Pack, the Installation for it so Simple, Unzip the downloaded file and during OSB Installation Just Choose the location. Download from Here.

You have two Choices to Install Oracle Service Bus, Create New Domain if you don’t have one or expanding the old depend on what you want but the Remain Setup is the same for both.

Install Oracle OSB 11.1.1.7 On Linux

First install the Binary, Unzip the download file (after upload it to the server), and fire the below command, As Oracle User:

./runInstaller

But Before Doing This I Apply Number Of Patches to Weblogic to avoid any Bugs in Service Bus.

export ORACLE_HOME=/u01/app/fmw/wls_10.3/

WebLogic 10.3.6 April 2013 PSU 10.3.6.0.4 (Patch 16083651)

Required WebLogic patch (Patch 13961904)

Required WebLogic patch (Patch 13573621)

Required WebLogic patch (Patch 14030073)

Required WebLogic patch (Patch 14322089)

Apply Patch Number 160……

unzip p16083651_1036_Generic.zip

Archive: p16083651_1036_Generic.zip inflating: patch-catalog_19345.xml inflating: README.txt inflating: D33T.jar

D33T.jar p16083651_1036_Generic.zip patch-catalog_19345.xml prod-info.xml README.txt

cp patch-catalog_19345.xml patch-catalog.xml ./bsu.sh -prod_dir=/u01/app/fmw/wlserver_10.3/ -patchlist=D33T -verbose –install
