Fill with water and open all air vents
Individual supply and return pipes connected first
Drains at the lowest point open
Check piping leaking
Check all air vents in sequence to bleed off any trapped air
Short-circuited connection to the supply and return pipes removed
Open all the drains and vents to complete drain down
Water valves set to make up for the required flow rate
