Installation steps
NEOLITE™ photovoltaic system is a high performance product designed to facilitate installation onto weight
sensitive corrugated rooftops while ensuring consistent power output over the system’s lifetime.
WARNING: THIS IS NOT INSTALLATION NOTICE

Materials
Module NEOLITE™
Glue PV804
Double sided tape 3mm thickness
Tile spacer (3mm thickness)
Module “positioning toolkit”
Cabling and connectors
Corrugated rooftop structure
The corrugated rooftop structure needs to be NEW and to display dimension similar to the following figure:
Detail of the underlying corrugated rooftop structure compatible with the NEOLITE™system
The profile can also involve a “sandwich” structure coming with insulation for building designs with a controlled temperature environment.
Coating the structure is polyester type, polyurethane, polyurethane / polyamide or PVC (Anticorrosive primer on
application)
Preparing the installation site
While planing the installation of the NEOLITE™ system, we need to allocate enough space to facilitate acces during the electrical connection step of the modules and during their maintenance. In order to do so, we particularly recommend leaving a gap between the columns of modules where we find the junction boxes, as shown in the figure of the following section. We also recommend plotting the positioning of the modules with a marker.
3 WARNING!
Do not walk onto the modules, this will damage them!
Positioning the modules onto the rooftop
Modules are mounted in a landscape mode. They are not supplied with cables so you need to purchase them
separately (TYCO® SOLARLOCK Slim Line connectors).
Gluing steps
Modules are attached onto the corrugated rooftop by gluing according to the following critical process steps.
1. Marking 2. Cleaning 3. Application of the double sided tapes 4. Application of the glue 5. Application of the tile spacers 6. Aligning the “positioning toolkit” 7. Gluing the module NEOLITE™

Cleaning
We recommend using a cleaning agent (- compatible with the protective coating) used to effectively remove dust and grease from the top of the rooftop wave.
The cleaning needs to be completed over the 7 waves where the panel will be glued as described above.
A visual check is needed to ensure that the surface is dry, dust-free, grease-free or other visual signs of residues.
No need to clean the back-side of the module – though a visual check is recommended to spot dust, and to clean them if present.
5
Application of the double sided tape
Apply a strip of double sided tape on the top of each top wave of the rooftop, i.e. 7 by panel as shown above.
Application of the glue
You can use a high through-put glue dispenser (-electrical or compressed air) to facilitate its application.
6
Application of the tile spacers
Aligning the « positioning toolkit »
7
Gluing the module NEOLITE™
This is completed according to the following steps:
Carry the NEOLITE™ as shown in the picture
Adjust the NEOLITE™ onto the « positioning toolkit » making sure that all junction boxes are positioned on the same side
Positioning NEOLITE™ in the center of the toolkit
Rotate NEOLITE™ onto the top of the corrugated rooftop waves and onto the glue, applying then a slight pressure to ensure contact with the glue (- without squeezing out the glue).

Remove the strings and cardboard
Electrical Connection
Materials
Standard cabling and inverter as for other crystalline Photovoltaic installation
Steps
Prepare the cabling with the connectors attached
Connect the modules with short cables
9
Position long cables to connect the strings to the inverter
Note that no grounding is needed with this installation!
Maintenance and cleaning
We recommend regular visual inspection of the NEOLITE™ system.
Make sure that there is no dust or other debris that could cause partial shading of the modules and may
reduce the power output and increase the risk of hotspots.
The ETFE frontsheet used with NEOLITE™ comes with a lower surface tension than glass and can simply
be cleaned with water (no high pressure needed) with a temperature of less than 40°C.
