Downloading and installing

Type Hot Potatoes into Google…

The Hot Potatoes Web site is first in the list (usually)

Click on the link to go to the site

When you get to the site, click ‘downloads’ and then click on the Hot Potatoes Installer link

•Click ‘download’ in the yellow bar (if you get one)•You should see this Save As dialog box•Click Save

It might take a minute or two to download the 10Mb file

When the file has downloaded, find the installer icon on the desktop and double click the icon

Hot Potatoes was written by an ESOL teacher. The program has good support for languages

Just click Next…

Check the accept button and click next

Then next again

And Next again…

I like to have short cuts and a quick launch on the tool bar.

Then click Next…

Finally, click Install…

Watch the ‘happy bar’

When the installer finishes, click next and then select the language you want to start in.

You can change the language from within Hot Potatoes

You are now ready to start using the Hot Potatoes applications
