BSC/MSC Thesis at the ISP -General Remarks

� Bachelor/Master thesis + seminar (SIGN UP !!!)

� Seminar consists of two presentations (midterm and final)

� Goal: Finish your thesis in a reasonable time

� Grade might become worse otherwise

� Make yourself a (realistic) plan before you start!

� Regular meetings with supervisor (Journal!)

� Templates and guidelines how to write your thesis available

Identify or develop “blind” and “full reference” image quality metrics in order to benchmark image processing systems and algorithms

Combine human expert view of the image quality with mathematical algorithms
