Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. And he brought them out in hope, and they feared not: band the sea
overwhelmed their enemies, allelúja. (Ps 77:53)
KYRIE & GLORIA: Missa Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam, Rev. Scott A. Haynes, S.J.C.
COLLECT
Almighty and eternal God, in the Easter sacrament thou instituted the covenant, whereby thou forgavest mankind; grant to our souls, that what
we outwardly profess we may show forth in our deeds. Through Jesus Christ, thy Son our Lord, Who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity
of the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end. Amen.
EPISTLE
Beloved: Because Christ also died once for our sins, the just for the unjust: that he might offer us to God, being put to death indeed in the flesh, but
enlivened in the spirit, In which also coming he preached to those spirits that were in prison: Which had been some time incredulous, when they
waited for the patience of God in the days of Noe, when the ark was a building: wherein a few, that is, eight souls, were saved by water. Whereunto
baptism being of the like form, now saveth you also: not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the examination of a good conscience towards
God by the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Who is on the right hand of God, swallowing down death, that we might be made heirs of life everlasting:
being gone into heaven, the angels and powers and virtues being made subject to him.-- 1 Peter 3:18-22
GRADUAL & ALLELUIA:
This is the day which the Lord hath made: let us be glad and rejoice therein. Blessed be he that cometh in the name Lord. The Lord is God,
and he hath shone upon us. (Ps 117:24; 117:26-27) Alleluia. Alleluia. Say ye among the Gentiles, the Lord hath reigned from a tree. (Ps 95:10)
EASTER SEQUENCE
Christians! to the Paschal Victim offer your thankful praises. The Lamb the sheep redeemeth: Christ, who only is sinless, reconcileth sinners to the Father. Death and life contended in that conflict stupendous: the
Prince of Life, who died, deathless reigneth. Speak, Mary, declaring what thou sawest wayfaring. "The tomb of Christ who now liveth: and likewise the glory of the Risen. Bright Angels attesting, the shroud and napkin resting. Yea, Christ my hope is arisen: to Galilee He goeth before you." We know that Christ is risen,
henceforth ever living: Have mercy, Victor King, pardon giving. Amen. Alleluia.
HOLY GOSPEL
In that time: the eleven disciples went into Galilee, unto the mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And seeing them they adored: but some doubted.
And Jesus coming, spoke to them, saying: All power is given to me in heaven and in earth. Going therefore, teach ye all nations; baptizing them in the
name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and behold I am
with you all days, even to the consummation of the world. -- Matthew 28:16-20 SERMON: Most Reverend James Clifford Timlin

LAST GOSPEL
V: Blessed by the Name of the Lord.R: Both now and forever.V: Our help is in the name of the Lord.R: Who made heaven and earth.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by
Him, and without Him was made nothing that was made: in Him was life, and the life was the Light of men; and the Light shineth in darkness, and the
darkness did not comprehend it. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. This man came for a witness, to testify concerning the Light, that
all might believe through Him. He was not the Light, but he was to testify concerning the Light. That was the true Light, which enlighteneth every man that
cometh into this world. He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own, and His own received Him not. But as many as received Him to them He
gave power to become sons of God, to them that believe in His Name, who are born not of blood, nor of the will of
the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (Here all kneel.) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us: and we saw His glory, the glory as of the
Only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. – John 1:1-14
