We are excited to announce that this Fall, the NGU String Project will come to Mountain View Elementary School. Students in 3 rd through 5 th grade from any school (public, private, charter, homeschool) are invited to participate. e NGU String Project offers beginning stringed instrument classes (violin, viola, cello, and bass) for children in 3 rd through 5 th grade. Teachers are NGU string music education majors under the supervision of Dr. Michael Weaver, NGU String Program Coordinator and Director of the String Project. e project consists of large group beginner classes, small second year like-instrument group classes, and third-year private lessons. Beginning classes consist of 25-30 students with a minimum of three teachers in each class. LOCATION: Mountain View Elementary School | 6350 Mountain View Road | Taylors, SC 29687 CLASS SCHEDULE: Class meets twice a week | Monday & Wednesday | 5 p.m. — 6 p.m. TUITION: Free Donations are appreciated.
