2- DESCRIPTION OF THE PRODUCT

Wibeee is a new method for electrical data acquisition, to facilitate decision making when it comes to understanding the use of electrical energy. The technology used, which is attached via a clip, is based on the patented DINZERO system and consists of simply attaching the de-vice to the cable or to the upper part of an MCB (miniature circuit breaker). Once switched on, the device will begin to convert the measured parameters into information that is sent via a wireless connection.

There are 5 models available:

Wibeee-M-L single-phase model with a neutral connection on the left. Wibeee-M-R single-phase model with a neutral connection on the right. Wibeee-T-L three-phase model with a neutral connection on the left. Wibeee-T-R three-phase model with a neutral connection on the right. Wibeee-3P three-phase model with no neutral connection.

The models have:

- 2 indicator LEDs- 1 Reset button

- Wi-Fi communications You can access the data measured by the device via the Wibeee Circutor mobile application, the website http://wibeeecircutorcom, or the device's internal web server.

4.5.-START-UP

During the start-up of the device, the Wibeee goes through different states:

1- Configuration state

Blue LED→Slowblinkinglight(1s)Red LED→Slowblinkinglight(1s)

In this state, the Wibeee generates its own Wi-Fi network called WIBEEE_xx:xx:xx Itisonlyusedtoconfigurethedeviceandconnectittotheuser'snetwork.

If you want to return to this state to obtain the initial conditions, you should hold down the Re-set button for more than 6 seconds. The device deletes any previous settings and restores the default values.

2- Connecting state

Blue LED→OffRed LED→Slowblinkinglight(1s)

In this state, the Wibeee is managing the connection with the router/access point. This state should last for 40 seconds, when there is good Wi-Fi coverage. In places where there is weak Wi-Fi coverage, it may take longer.

6- WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS

6.1.- USAGE ENVIRONMENT AND HEALTH

Wireless communications emit radio frequency electromagnetic energy, like other radio devic-es.

Because wireless communications operate within the guidelines found in radio frequency safe-ty standards and recommendations, they are safe for users to use.

In certain environments or situations, the use of wireless communications may be restricted by the owner of the building or the representatives responsible for the organisation. These situations include:

The use of wireless connections on board aircraft, in hospitals or near to service stations, blasting areas, medical implants or electronic medical devices implanted in the body (pace-makers etc.).

In any other environment where the risk of interference with other devices or services is identifiedashazardous.

If you are unsure about the policy implemented regarding the use of wireless devices in a spe-cificorganisation(airport,hospital,etc.),itisadvisabletoaskforauthorisationtousewirelesscommunications.

6.2.- Wi-Fi COMMUNICATIONS

Wi-Fi is one of the most widely used wireless technologies today, for connecting and exchang-ing information between electronic devices without having to connect them physically.

The Wibeee has Wi-Fi communications in the 2.4 GHz band, compliant with standard IEEE 802.11

6.3.- MODBUS TCP PROTOCOL

The MODBUS protocol is an industry communication standard that enables the network connection of multiple devices, where there is a master and multiple slaves.

The MODBUS functions implemented in the device are:

Function 0x03. Reading of multiple registers. This function is used to request the desired measurement parameters from the Wibeee Modbus server.

Function 0x05.Writingofaspecificregister.This function isused todelete theWibeee's energy meters.

If the Wibeeereceivesafunctionrequestotherthanthoseabove,orfornon-specifiedmemoryregisters,thedeviceidentifiesthisasan“Illegal error” and responds with the appropriate ex-ception code.

41Instruction Manual

Wibeee

As it is a MODBUS TCP server, the device number internally assigned to the Wibeee is 1.

Bydefault, onceconfigured, theWibeee starts to send data over the internet to the CIRCUTOR server. If you want to stop this data from being sent (for example, because the local network does not have an Internet connection) you have to set a data refresh time of -1. This way, the device is only waiting to handle MODBUS requests.

6.4.- MODBUS MEMORY MAP

All MODBUS map addresses are in hexadecimal format.
