Schedule and registration for courses

FAQ

• My Learning Agreement/During the Mobility form is not correct- Fill out a (new) During the Mobility form and send it to

[email protected] so we can have it signed.

• I have not looked up my schedule yet- Look up your schedule ASAP and make necessary changes via the During

the Mobility form.

• I have not received my signed documents (via email)- Make an appointment during the consultation hours so I can check it.

• I am not yet registered for (all) courses- Go to the information desk (E7.02) to register for courses.

• I need to register for courses at another faculty- Go to the International Office of that faculty (addresses on the ‘departmental

coordinators’ sheet).

OSIRIS & Blackboard

• OSIRIS is our student information system: http://sis.ru.nl. - Log in with student number (without –s) and password.

• If you are registered for a course in OSIRIS, you are automatically enrolled for the exam (but not for the resit!).

• Via OSIRIS you can check your grades.

• Information about your courses (assignments, notes of the professor) can be found on Blackboard: https://blackboard.ru.nl. - Log in with student number and password.

• You can also log in via the Student Portal to get acces to OSIRIS and Blackboard: https://portal.ru.nl/home.

MMS (Multi Media Study Centre)

Where?• Erasmusbuilding, first floor, on top of “Refter”.

Opening hours:• vary from central computer room to smaller rooms, but from 9 am till 7 pm

on Monday to Thursday, Friday 9 am until 5 pm. (See website www.ru.nl/mms for more info).

With your student number, you will be given a personal account. Don’t have your student number yet? Go to the help desk for a day

account.

Language courses for exchange students

“Social Dutch” I and II (starts on 2 November 2015):• Mondays and Wednesday evenings • 12 classes of 1.5 hours, runs for 6 weeks (2-3 hours workload a week)• Focusing on basic level of Dutch and cultural aspects of the Netherlands• € 139,-   (= incl. 50% reduction) Evening courses Dutch (start on 29 September 2015)• Tuesday and Thursday evenings• 14 weeks, 2 classes a week (10-12 hours workload a week)• Different levels: from A2 to level B2 (CEFR).• Only for advanced students of Dutch (>A2)• Free of charge
