Ceiling-Mounted LCD Projector
The projector is controlled using the Crestron Control Panel, which is
located on wall near the podium.
Simply press the power L button on the panel to turn on the projector.
It will need approximately 30 seconds to warm up.
Podium Monitor
This room is equipped with a HP E220t touch screen monitor. It is
powered on/off by pressing the power L button located in the lower
right corner. Use either a stylus or your finger to interact with the screen.
Podium Computer
The computer is at the bottom of the equipment rack inside the podium.
If needed, press the power L button (located on the left-side of the
computer) to turn it on. USB ports are to the right of the power L button.
Press the computer button on the Crestron panel to display the
computer on the projector.
Once the computer is on, the image should appear on both the projector
and podium monitor. However, when a Guest Laptop is connected and
powered on the video switcher automatically selects that input. To
display the Podium Computer again simply unplug the HDMI cable from
the laptop.

I pressed the power L button on the Crestron Control Panel, but the projector did not turn on. What do I do?
Check the POWER status LED on the projector to see if the projector is ready to be turned on.
Amber (Blinking): Projector was just turned off and is cooling down; wait for the light to turn solid amber before trying to turn the projector back on. Amber (Solid): Projector is ready to be turned on. Green (Blinking): Projector received the command to turn on and is in the process of doing so. Green (Solid): Projector is on. Red (Solid or Blinking): Contact Classroom Support x2552.

Volume Control On the Crestron panel press the button to increase volume and the
button to decrease it. Mute is toggled on/off with the button.
If needed, volume controls on the computer itself can also be adjusted.
Displaying a Guest Laptop
The HDMI cable for connecting a laptop is located in the cable cubby on
the top of the podium. Adapters are provided to connect laptops that do
not have a HDMI port; DVI, DisplayPort, Mini DisplayPort, Mini HDMI, and
Micro HDMI adapters are available. In addition, two electrical outlets are
available.
1. Plug the HDMI cable into your laptop’s HDMI port.
2. Press the computer button on the Crestron panel to display the laptop image on the projector.
Don’t see the laptop image on the projector?
Make sure your laptop is powered on.
Make sure your laptop is set to appear on a secondary display.
o Windows: Press Windows logo key + P until Duplicate is selected.
o Mac OS: Click on Displays in System Preferences and then click on the Arrangement tab. Click on the Mirror Displays checkbox.

Before Leaving the Room… Room PC If you used the room’s computer make sure that you either shut down or sign out of the machine.
Shut down the Room PC
1. Open the Start Menu 2. Click on the l Power button 3. Click Shut down
Sign out of the PC
1. Open the Start Menu 2. Click on the User button 3. Click Sign out
Ceiling-Mounted LCD Projector Press the power L button twice on the Crestron Control Panel to turn off the projector. It will need approximately 75 seconds to cool down before it can be turned back on.
Crestron Control Panel
