(2) HAMLab is research tool. No user-friendly interfaces and user guides.
(3) simulation of FEM based integrated models can easily become very computation time consuming.

Matlab/SimuLink and FemLab – all presented HAMLab models in this paper
are public domain; – it is relative easy to integrate new models
that are based on ODEs and/or PDEs. – the simulation facilitates open source
modeling – if desired, models can be compiled into stand-
alone applications
