Rote learning vs. Meaningful learning
Blended learning Our reality: Technology is everywhere
Why using technology in language teaching and learning?_ It can be motivating_ The inteactivity of language can be highly beneficial (Sharma and Barret, 2008)
Why integrating videos into EFL classroom?_ It has been proven to be an effective method in TEFL (Rammal, 2006)_ It facilitates learning by selecting appropriate input material_ It provides contexts (which can be exploited to enhance oral production)_ It promotes interaction (Keene, 2006)
Considering a wiki as the web tool to be used to reach the objectives of this project
Students will be able:
_ to find extra material to practice outside the classrooms
_ to watch tutorials to produce their own videos
_ to read the activities scheduled before classes
_ to get video samples
Thank you very much
