[57] Abstract:

Pencil case organizer is a very important thing used for organizing and protecting their school materials such as pens, pencils, and erasers. Also in our present days students preferably used power banks to charge their cell phones without needing outlets but the problem is they do not have a specific place to put their school materials that might be lead to damage of chords and power banks and also the Portable mini speaker that can be used by the students especially the professors who utilize speaker for their presentation in class, and also Portable mini speaker is too small that is prone from falling and cause damages to its performance. The above mentioned case made the researchers to decide in innovating a product from a pencil case organizer that has different features such as power bank, speaker, and organizer in which it can reduce the space and can reduce the probability of damages that can occur to the power bank, chord, speaker and cell phone itself. The researchers decided to choose Quezon City Polytechnic University-San Bartolome as our target place because it is convenient for the researchers. After presenting the analysis and interpretation of data gathered from the respondents through the use of statistical tools, the following findings were arrived.

Provided is a paper sheet processing system capable of preventing a large number of wrong paper bills put in a paper sheet processing apparatus at one time from being exchanged with clean money. A bill processing apparatus sends information on a total amount of the bills supplied to the bill processing apparatus incorporated in a gaming machine and the number of games played by a player counted by a counter to a management server. The management server compares the total amount with a predetermined amount and if the total amount is higher than the predetermined amount, compares the counted number of games with a predetermined number. If the counted number of games is smaller than the predetermined number, the management server sends a report signal to a management apparatus.

[57] Abstract:

A grain probe moisture meter was developed for rapid and objective measurement of moisture content while doing the customary grain sampling in bags comprising of a standard grain probe, probe base, a test chamber assembly and casing assembly. The grain probe moisture meter is a capacitance type meter utilizing a constant volume of grain as the dielectric material and whose frequency values increased with corresponding decrease in moisture content of the grains. A rechargeable 3.7-Volt lithium battery provides power to the whole system. The invention incorporated a moisture sensing device to existing probe to facilitate moisture content measurement while collecting grains for other quality assessment. It offers an objective and immediate determination of moisture content. It is made portable which can be brought handy in the field without difficulty.

[57] Abstract:

One aspect of the present invention is directed to a digital broadcast communication system which includes a transmission-side communication system, a reception-side communication system for receiving a packetized transport stream from the transmission-side communication system, and a digital media playback device for receiving the stream from the reception-side communication system and for converting the stream into digital media signals having a data format suitable to be processed by a media playback application executing on the device. The stream may include video signals selectively scrambled at the transmission-side communication system using a scrambling sequence and a scrambling parameter. A descrambling parameter corresponding to the scrambling parameter may be injected into the stream at the transmission-side communication system. The application includes a descrambling sequence manager arranged to extract the descrambling parameter from the stream, and also descramble the scrambled video signals included in the stream using a descrambling sequence. The scrambling and descrambling sequences, and as well as the scrambling and descrambling parameters, are configurable from the transmission-side communication system.

[57] Abstract:

A biomass Eco stove that is intended to be use for cooking to meet the daily basic need of human beings. The stove consists of a metal body supported by a frame with top cooking pot holder. The fuel is stored in the combustion chamber which is located in the top removable drawer which provides convenience in adding more biomass material when needed. The bottom drawer acts like a dumper to regulate the heating capacity of the combustion chamber by opening and closing thereby increasing or decreasing the airflow requirement. This biomass eco stove is unique in the sense that it uses all kinds of biomass fuel materials such as dried charcoal, wood chips, corn hubs, wooden filings, shredded coco husk, broken coconut shells, small pieces of woods, sawdust, rice husk (apa), and even dried grasses, waste cartons, newspapers and the like. This stove is called a biomass eco stove because it uses all the known biomass material as fuel. ECO stands for: E - eco-friendly, economical and efficient; C - compact and convenient; 0 - optimal design. The heating that is use for cooking is provided by the combustion chamber which by principle moves the air from hot to cold region by moving upwards thereby creating a vacuum on the lower chamber that permits the flow of required air to support the continuous combustion of biomass fuel. The intensity of heat is regulated by closing and closing the lower drawer which is called damper. This lower drawer also acts as the ash pan which collects the ashes generated by the upper combustion chamber and drops to the lower chamber by gravity. This ash can be used as fertilizer to soil such as in potted plants. It has a built-in diffuser located in between the lower and upper drawer that directs the flow of the needed air to the combustion chamber. Another feature of this biomass stove is the unique top cover that seals of whole eco stove whenever cooking is finished so the excess biomass fuel material would cease in burning thereby conserving it to be reused on the next cooking session. This eco stove has a removable top cover for easy cleaning and replaceable by an optional barbeque grill accessory. This stove achieves a smokeless operation by providing the complete air requirement for combustion. The ECO stove is ideal for indoor and outdoor applications since it is smokeless, compact, efficient and earth-

The present invention relates in general to target optimization in nucleic acid detection, particularly detection of DNA, without resort to nucleic acid amplification methods or isolation of fragments containing nucleic acid targets. More specifically, the present invention relates to target optimization in nucleic acid detection, without a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) or any conventional amplification method. According to this invention, target optimization in nucleic acid detection is accomplished by targeting multiple repeating sequences, particularly multiple sequence repeats characteristic to a target organism's genome, which may be pathogenic, in cases of diagnostic applications.

[57] Abstract:

PROBLEM To provide a straddled vehicle that is able to shorten a time period until completion of engine start after an engine start instruction. SOLUTION An engine unit includes a single-cylinder engine, a compression release mechanism, a drive wheel, a permanent magnet type motor, a battery, an inverter including a plurality of switching parts, and a control device. The control device controls the switching parts in such a manner that, upon reception of a start instruction for starting the single-cylinder engine, the permanent magnet type motor moves a piston so as to operate the compression release mechanism in a compression stroke of a first combustion cycle, and then the permanent magnet type motor applies a force to the piston via a crankshaft such that the rotation speed of the crankshaft in a second combustion cycle exceeds the pressure-reduction upper limit speed for the compression release mechanism, so that the piston is moved without operating the compression release mechanism in a compression stroke of the second combustion cycle, thus assisting compression of the mixed gas.

A method, as well as a system implementing the method, for automatically aligning a bond arm with respect to a bonding support surface for supporting a substrate during a bonding process. The method comprises: rotating the bond arm for a first revolution around a longitudinal axis through a bond head moveably coupled to the bond arm, the first revolution including a plurality of predefined rotary angular positions; pausing the rotation of the bond arm at each of the plurality of rotary angular positions; determining a tilt angle of the bond arm relative to the bonding support surface during each pause at the respective rotary angular position; and selecting the rotary angular position of the bond arm which has a tilt angle that satisfies a predefined specification such that the bond arm is aligned substantially perpendicular to the bonding support surface.

[57] Abstract:

An electronic control unit (50) is configured to select a first cam as a driving cam of an intake valve in a first operation range where a target value of an EGR rate is set to a specified EGR rate, and is configured to select a second cam as the driving cam in a second operation range smaller in valve duration and lift amount than the first cam. Accordingly, in most of the operation regions, the first cam is selected, and the second cam is selected only in a high-torque and high-speed region. When the second cam is selected in the high-torque and high-speed region, the state where an actual compression ratio is high can be eliminated, and suction efficiency can be decreased. Therefore, decrease in a knocking limit can be suppressed.
