Intellian’s v100GX is a 1m Ku-band to Ka-band
GX convertible maritime stabilized antenna.
Ready-to-use system for the Global Xpress™(GX)
Ka-band broadband service from Inmarsat. The
v100GX offers a robust, affordable, plug and play
conversion kit to enable a smooth upgrade path from
Ku to GX service in as little as 10 minutes without
requiring a factory trained technician.
The v100GX’s high-gain, highly efficient reflector
and tuned radome ensure the best service qual-
ity available when configured for Ku or Ka-band GX
operation. In addition, the v100GX supports low el-
evation angle (-20°) capability to guarantee reliable
connection at extremely high latitude.
The v100GX’s seamless end-to-end solution is to
offer hassle-free installation, operation, and main-
tenance. The v100GX interfaces with Aptus, In-
tellian’s graphic-based antenna remote control
software. The Aptus Software Development Kit
(SDK), allows a NOC or service center to integrate
antenna monitoring and control into an existing
network management system in an easier, more
user-friendly, and convenient manner.
The v100GX supports 8W and 16W BUC sizes in the
Ku-band configuration. All models are built with Co-
pol and Cross-pol feed and come equipped with Intel-

Easily and quickly convert from a Ku-band system to a Ka-band GX
system in under 10min without removing the radome. All RF compo-
nents are mounted on a single chassis to form an integrated RF mod-
ule consisting of the BUC and the Intellian Global PLL LNB.
By removing only four bolts the whole module can be detached and
taken out of the radome through the access hatch. The new BUC &
LNB module fit right back into the same space with no need to rebal-
ance the system. Finally, the Ku-band feed is easily replaced with the
Ka-band feed.

Simple Conversion From Ku to KaThe v100 can be easily and quickly converted
from Ku-band system to a Ka-band system with
the mounting hardware equipped with an inte-
grated RF module consisting of the BUC and
LNB. The BUC & LNB assembly is attached to
the rear side of the reflector through a simple
process, with no need to balance the system af-
ter conversion. The Ku-band feed can be easily
and swiftly replaced with the Ka-band feed and is
included in the Ku-to-Ka Upgrade kit.
Auto Beam Switching AvailableThe v100 supports ABS via OpenAMIP protocol of
iDirect and the ROSS Open Antenna Management
(ROAM) protocol of Comtech.
Ku and Ka-Band Optimized ReflectorThe v100 is designed and engineered to operate
on Ku and Ka-bands while maximizing the RF per-
formance on both bands. The reflector of the v100 is
capable of handling either Ku or Ka-Bands, eliminat-
ing the need to replace the reflector when switching
between bands.

The simplified radome design cuts installation time
as does the ability to control to the antenna wirelessly
with Aptus and use the built in spectrum analyzer fea-
ture all from within the radome.
Automatic polarization switchingFeaturing patented technology available only on se-
lect Intellian models, the v240C allows you to effort-
lessly and automatically switch between linear and
circular C-band polarization, wherever you go, with
ease and convenience. Simply select a polarization
from the ACU or Aptus, and the unit does the rest of
the work for you, auto-adjusting itself to receive the
desired signal.
Easy installation, setup and operationThe v240C assembles more easily than any other sys-
tem on the market, taking an average of just 8 hours
from crate to commissioning.
The time savings realized are tremendously valuable
with today’s fast operational pace. Once installed, the
system automatically re-adjusts accordingly every
time it powers up (bow home sensor offset, azimuth,

The antenna’s high efficiency, offset fed reflector, and
an ultra-wide elevation angle enable superb connec-
tivity virtually anywhere you go, even in extremely high
latitudes.
True 2.4m MultiBand PerformanceConventional MultiBand solutions have only partially
addressed market needs by mounting a 2.4m C-band
reflector and a 1.2m Ku-band reflector inside a single
radome. The benefit of only installing one antenna is
clear. The limitation, however, is lower performance
in Ku-band and much slower switching time between
C- and Ku-band.
Intellian’s v240M provides outstanding 2.4m perfor-
mance in both frequency bands, delivering faster
download speeds, increased offshore coverage in
Ku-band and significant improvements in link budget
to both the end user and service provider. Further-
more, switching time is reduced from minutes to mere

portions of the superstructure.
Intellian’s Dual VSAT Mediator communicates with both Antenna Control
Units, automatically switching signal feeds from one to the other within
milliseconds when an antenna enters blockage zone.

Intellian VSAT Modem Mediator utilizes the industry leading technology to
control two separate satellite modems with a single box. It is an optional
accessory for the v240M, Intellian’s multi-band antenna operating in C-

Intellian’s Global PLL LNB is the world’s first Ku-Band LNB module ca-
pable of receiving a full range of operating frequencies from any VSAT
satellite around the globe. This significant advance in VSAT antenna tech-
nology provides VSAT users seamless broadband
service across the globe while eliminating the need
to change LNBs as a vessel move from one global
region to another. The Global PLL LNB defined a new
standard by achieving +/-10 kHz (1ppm) stability.
Intellian supplies Level 1, 2 and 3 Service Kits complete with replace-
ment motors, belts and other critical antenna components to ensure that
technicians have what they need on hand. All kits come neatly packed in
a custom watertight case. Each
part is individually wrapped
and labeled with both a part
number and a descriptive name.

Intellian’s Aptus software is compatible with all Intellian VSAT and TVRO antennas and can be connected via the
onboard network or direct to the ACU by serial, USB, or Wi-Fi (mobile app) through a simple one-click installa-
tion. Straightforward remote IP connection and set-up, coupled with antenna status reporting helps increase the
performance of the antenna as well as debug the system.
The software displays a simple to understand dashboard that allows logging, recording and fine-tuning of the
antenna for optimum performance. Through logging the antenna’s parameters, the user and integrator can monitor
the system and see performance data in real-time.
Aptus features a dashboard with three main views to monitor and control the antenna. The views provide varying
levels of information, such as antenna position, set-up data including sensor inputs, satellite information including
tracking frequency and LNB setting, graphs illustrating the signal, heading and elevation angles, and a monitor
listing all data that is being received by the ACU.
When installing an Intellian VSAT antenna, Aptus can also help with the initial set-up and automati-
