Registered participants for 2013 IAWG annual meeting include approximately 122 individuals from 79 agencies and 30 countries.

Representatives from governments, United Nations agencies, non-governmental organizations, academia, etc.

Why are we here?

Annual face-to-face meetings for members to: exchange information,identify challenges,gain from the experience of others,build partnerships, andcollectively work toward the institutionalization

of reproductive health care for crisis-affected populations.

What does IAWG do?

Advances global agenda through 11 thematic and five regional sub-working groups with a specific Terms of Reference.

Shares information and resources through a website (www.iawg.net) and electronic community (http://my.ibpinitiative.org/iawg).

Meets on an annual basis to review process and determine priorities for collective action.

2013 meeting objectives

Review progress towards achieving the programmatic goals outlined in the Terms of Reference from the 2011 IAWG meeting.

Share information and identify areas of common work; plan next steps for 2013-2014.

Establish a regional IAWG forum for the South East Asia and Oceania region to share information and lessons learned across projects and enable synergistic partnerships.
