Managing your equipmentcould require a warranty-tracking tool.

Equipment Management:Preventive Template

Preventive templates aredesigned to plan maintenanceactions for specificequipment.

Assignments are defined.

Then, a schedule is set totrigger the maintenanceaction which can be based ona frequency.

First, details concerning theequipment and person in

charge are entered.

Checklists can be prepared.

Parts are added if needed.

It can also be based on ameter.

Week numbers are availableto set your maintenance to aspecific period.

Equipment Management:Meters

If Preventive Work Orders aretriggered by a meter, you canupdate these meters directlyinto the system.

Depending on the valuesentered, an increase rate is

calculated to set the nextpreventive maintenance inthe planning board.

Also, meters can be linkeddirectly to the database forautomatic update withoutmanual entry.

Equipment Management:Inspection Routes

Inspection routes make iteasy to group short andsimple activities for a groupof equipment. Instead ofgenerating a Work Order foreach equipment, you canattach an Inspection route to

a preventive template togenerate it automatically andperform your inspection onmultiple equipment at oncewhich reduces data entrytime.

First, set the equipment to beverified in the inspectionroute.

Inspection routes are a good way to deal with

basic verification runs such as:

Equipment lubrications

Sprinkler verification

Meter updates

No need to generate a multitude of WorkOrders. Inspection routes again are an easy andquick way to save time on performing shortactivities.

Then, define activities to beperformed.

Finally, associate theactivities with the equipmentto generate an InspectionRoute based on weeknumber.

Labor Management:Permissions

Permissions are definedthrough security groups.

You can have multiple

security groups for oneemployee.

Security groups are thenassociated to employees.

Also, security groups areassociated to a plant or groupof plants for regionalmanagement.

Moreover, permissions can beset for specific actions in

certain fields.

Permissions will be applied to this plant only

If a group of plants is associated to an employee,permissions will be applied to all plants part of this group

Labor Management:Resource Types and Salary

Resource types are firstdefined according to theirskills and their hourly rate.

Resource types are thenassociated to each employee.

This way, when assigning aWork Order to labor, you willget the total cost for locallabor automatically afterentering the time needed tocomplete work.

Labor Management:Teams

Teams are first definedaccording to their descriptionand their schedule (forexample: Day shift).

Teams are then associated toeach employee if needed.

This way, when you changepart of a schedule, you donthave to open eachemployees file to update thenew schedule, but simplyapply the changes to aspecific team to set the newschedule to employees in theteam.

Labor Management:Vacations and Unavailability

Vacations and unavailabilityare standards that can bemanaged in INTERAL.

They can be associated to anindividual, for an illness or amaternity leave, for example.

They can also be assigned toa group of employees, as inthe case of holidays.
