INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION FOR FUTURE LEADERS The LSE Intercultural Communication for Future Leaders aims to develop students’ effective communication skills in any global settings. It focuses on intercultural communication skills, functional English proficiency, and critical thinking skills. The course examines theories and case studies in effective communication in diplomacy and business contexts, including negotiation and persuation. Students will cover the same lecture sessions and then have the option to choose a diplomacy career track or business track for the interactive tutorial sessions. In addition, students will be offered opportunity to take on a choice of French and/or German as an additional language. Summer Programme

The LSE Intercultural Communication for Future Leaders aims todevelop students’ effective communication skills in any global settings.

Target students: Any students whowish to have a global career with theview to enhance one's interculturalcommunication skills and leadershippresence. The diplomacy track isparticularly suitable for studentsmajored in International Relations,Politics and InternationalOrganisation.  The business track isparticularly suitable for studentsmajored in Business, Management,Economics and Finances.

Delivery: The course will be deliveredonline with recording lectures, readings,online practice and feedback and liveZoom seminars. Courses are deliveredby staff from LSE and ConfuciusInstitute for Business London, LSE.

Time: 3 weeks in Aug 2020 (interactive part will be delivered AM UK time) Fee: £800 (tuition)

Other information: The course is capped at 30 students in total.The courseoffers 5 scholarships to Fudan University, based on student application andFudan recommonedation. The course comes with a LSE Certificate.Thecourse will present top 3 students with additional award and referencingopportunity from course leader.
