Interest groups contain 3 things

1. Interest group topic(s): health, education, labor, open source.

2. Interest group champion

• All the sectors (including technology)

• Natural groups with common goals – Not too broad – Minimum group size

• Identify problem(s) to address together– Share key audience group(s)

• Overlaps are fine and welcome.– We facilitate collaboration across interest

groups.

2. Group champion

• Driven primarily by the community, not us.– Knowledge, sustainability

and energy• S/he commits to:

– Identify and invite relevant people/orgs

– Schedule and lead meetings– Coordinate with Innovations

objectives and timeframes
