I am also currently a co-applicant on a number of clinical research projects in the area of adult hearing loss and its rehabilitation being undertaking at Betsi Cadwaladr Universtiy Health Board. These include the test-retest validation of a new outcome measure, a randomised controlled trial evaluating live voice auditory training and an investigation of the incidence of dementia with hearing aid use in the adult population. I am also in the process of developing a research project in collaboration with Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre (NBRC) that will be funded by a hearing aid manufacturer – no formal agreements or protocols yet finalised
