This is the first year we have held a meeting in Lima, Peruto celebrate the World Interfaith Harmony Week of the

United Nations

The meeting included a forum when representatives fromthe major religions shared their thoughts about thisimportant work. Then they participated in a candle

lighting ceremony together with leaders of various ONGsin Peru.

Then everyone there prayed together for peace and harmony

The meeting concluded with music and refreshments

UPF Perú President Dr Trevor Jones has been active in interfaith for a number of years and has received recognition from various

comunities for his work.
