Resources to meet any scheduleWith its abundance of resources, McKenney’s Interiors & Special Projects (ISP) team can respond quickly to a wide range of mechanical needs, including interior renovations, infrastructure repairs, replacements and retrocommissioning projects. McKenney’s offers over six decades of proven success and experience to ensure your renovation needs are solved as quickly and cost-effectively as possible. Resources include:

MANPOWER. ISP offers more than 60 mobile crews consisting of sheet metal, piping and plumbing trades as well as start-up and commissioning technicians, all of whom receive continuous training to ensure that the most efficient methods, materials, safety measures and processes are used for every project.

DESIGN-BUILD AND DESIGN-ASSIST CAPABILITIES. With 10 professional engineers on staff, the ISP team can partner with you or your design team to provide or review design and site conditions to ensure faster speed to market. We work with you and your team from the start of the job to help set and maintain realistic budgets.

SHOPS AND FABRICATION. Materials and assemblies can be fabricated by our in-house shops to expedite delivery and minimize installation time in the field— where conditions are more hectic, crowded and less manageable—for safer, faster and more cost-effective results.

EXPERIENCE. ISP project managers and field resources are dedicated to interior construction and have extensive experience working with existing buildings.

CONTROLS. We can design, install and service innovative, high-quality automation and control systems, security systems and building intelligence systems that meet your specific requirements and provide exceptional value.

DESIGN-BUILD AND DESIGN-ASSIST. We take the lead to ensure your project is completed on time and on budget.

TENANT BUILD-OUTS. By self-performing our trade work, we are better able to forecast costs and control the schedule, quality and safety of our work. From multi-floor tenant relocations to smaller expansions and renovations, our ISP team can handle all aspects of your project while offering a single point of contact for system coordination and well-trained technicians available when you need them.

COMMISSIONING, START-UP, RETROCOMMISSIONING AND PROBLEM SOLVING.

We can provide an extra level of design and system review and have experienced start-up technicians who are trained on most types of equipment and manufacturers. We can also review your existing systems and provide recommendations to optimize your building’s performance.

MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE. With over 300 service technicians and field leaders, we can maintain equipment we install after construction is complete.

REPLACEMENT AND RENOVATIONS. Even after the space is completed and occupied, we can return to manage additional renovations and modifications as necessary for your changing needs.
