Sheenlac Cement Based Polymeric Putty fills uneven surfaces in cement plastered walls, ceiling or concrete surfaces giving a protective base for your expensive paints. Made out of the optimum quality raw material, it provides unmatched workability, giving a smooth and strong finish.

Recommended for all types of interior and exterior smooth plasters, false ceilings, asbestos sheets, concrete etc.

Clean the substrate from all loose materials, grease, dust and chalking by cleaning with Emery Paper 180 / Wire Brush and clean water. Ensure the surface is free from efflorescence. Apply one coat of Sheenlac Interior/ exterior primer at recommended dilution using standard brush application. Allow the applied primer to dry for minimum 3-4 hours. Sand surface lightly with Emery Paper 180 and wipe clean.

New concrete, masonry or plaster: Allow the newly constructed cement surface to cure minimum for 30 days prior to application of Sheenlac Interior/Exterior Wall primer. Always ensure the wall to be painted is dry and devoid of any loosely adhering cement.

Application Procedure:Apply one coat of Sheenlac Cement Based Putty with a putty knife. Smooth the surface by filling dents, holes

and imperfections. Allow drying for 6-8 hours. If required apply a second layer of putty. Allow putty to dry thoroughly, preferably overnight. Sand the surface with fine Emery Paper and wipe clean to achieve a levelled surface.Apply topcoat on the finished surface after application of another coat of primer.

Application precautions:Ÿ Ensure during application time, the surface

temperature and air temperature are not below 10 deg C or above 45 deg C. Ÿ Should not over thin the paint above the recommended

dilution levels. Ÿ Stir the paint properly before use. Ÿ Seal the container when not in use.

Pot Life of Prepared PasteRecommended to apply within 1 hour, once it is mixed.

Storage and Transportation: Do not store or transport the containers under direct sunlight or at elevated temperatures. Store the container in an upright position in order to avoid any leakage or damage.

Shelf Life: One years from the date of manufacturing in the original tightly closed containers stored away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
