WELCOME TO OUR NEW NEIGHBORS

Ron and Tina Ray 492 Sweetwater Way

Tina is a native New Yorker who moved to Florida in the early 70’s. Ron is a native Floridian living most of his life in Polk County. Ron is an U.S. Army Veteran (1981-1984). They plan to be full time residents of LHE. They are both in the mid fifties and are still full-time employed. Ron works out of his home as a pro-ject estimator for a nation-wide construction compa-ny, skills that he has successfully applied in the re-modeling of his home. Tina works for Polk County Nutrition Department. Her previous experience in-cludes working for the USPS and in the real estate business. They use to live in a condominium in Win-ter Haven. While working in real estates Tina showed a property in LHE and had the opportunity to appreci-ate as well as advertise the values of the community. Both were impressed by the community friendliness, organization, and the little things like owner’s birth-day and anniversaries recognitions. With both of their backgrounds, they did not hesitate to make the move. They have three daughters, one son and 6 grandchil-dren living in Florida, Georgia and Tennessee. They are quite busy with theirs careers, and babysitting for their children. Not withstanding, they want to become active in the community. Tina likes cooking, playing cards, and travelling while Ron would like to get more involved in the wood shop and golf. They share their home with Sophie, a beautiful 9 years old Maltese

Bob and Terry Collins 648 Sweetwater Way

Bob and Terry (brothers) originally come from Central Ohio but in 2015 Bob took a job in Melbourne, FL. He and Terry visited a niece in Orlando before 2015 and Terry fell in love with Disney, so when Bob took the job in Melbourne it made Terry happy. When Bob retired recently they looked for a home even closer to Micky Mouse. Bob and Terry will be full time residents. Bob retired from a career in Enviromental Health and Safety as a Director and was in many management roles as well. Bob plays golf and enjoys many hobbies in the home and caring for Terry. They both love going to sports games and watching them on T.V. Bob has cared for Terry since his parents passed away in the 1970’s. When Terry was two he had a traumatic brain injury and it resulted in other issues. Terry is in a wheelchair now but enjoys living on the golf course. Bob and Terry have already enjoyed Karaoke in the Pub. Bob sang tenor with the Brevard Community Chorus. His other hobbies include computer programing and web site development. They also have another brother, Keith who will visit periodically

SEPTEMBER 2019 LAKE HENRY ESTATES NEWSLETTER

SEPTEMBER GREETINGS! Renewable energy…. When my husband and I were traveling from Budapest to Prague by coach in early June, we noted that there were numerous areas with wind farms. Recently, we traveled on the tollroad 429 on the way to Longwood. We passed by a large so-lar farm located on the east side of 429. I have to say it was rather interesting on the return trip to see the solar panels had adjusted to follow the pattern of the sun! With the increase use of electricity throughout the country, the use of renewable energy is paramount! Now, to expand the use of solar systems for our homes to help reduce our electric bills! Wishing you and your family a wonderful Labor Day!
