“Economic & scientific cooperation between German and Vietnamese enterprises and institutions“ Second international activity:
Leipzig, Germany, 24th to 26th November 2015
Introduction The International Small Enterprise Promotion and Training Program (SEPT) of the Leipzig University and the Master in Vocational Education and Personnel Capacity Building Program of the Technical University Dresden is pleased to invite you to the International Alumni Seminar “Economic & scientific cooperation between German and Vietnamese enterprises and institutions“ which includes two events, one in Hanoi and one in Leipzig.
Celebrating 40 years of German-Vietnamese Diplomatic relationship, we want to develop new ideas towards joint action between firms and other institutional actors that happen in a German-Vietnamese cooperation.
The whole program consists of three components:
1. International Seminar in Hanoi to analyze the results of the last years of cooperation between Vietnamese and German actors and to start looking for new cooperation chances (carried out in May 2015)
2. Contacting potential cooperation partners in Germany and developing the cooperation ideas in the time between the two seminars (in progress)
3. International Seminar in Leipzig for presentation and analysis of the results of the cooperation initiatives and further discussion (upcoming event)

Procedure and conditions
Application procedure and conditions for Vietnamese Alumni who attended the last seminar in Hanoi
(May 2015)
Funding and conditions
As usual, Alumni who will participate in this event, accommodation and travel expenses to Leipzig will be
partially covered by the organization with DAAD-funding coming from the BMZ.
Accommodation in Leipzig will be selected, booked and paid by the organization (accommodation may
include DWB rooms - double with bathroom. Please, let us know if you have any special need or
inconvenience with this kind if accommodation).
Cost coverage:
Since there is a given budget to be distributed among the participants, there is a minimum amount of
funds that can be guaranteed. If the organization may get additional resources or if any participants
wouldn’t be able to participate, or if they do not comply with the established deadlines for visa
application and tickets purchase, the funding originally allocated to this Alumni will be redistributed
among the remaining participants uniformly.
– Starting available amount for travel expenses: 651,40 EUR
– Starting available amount for visa application and insurance: 66,38 EUR
– Currently total available reimbursement per capita: 717,78 EUR
Accommodation was already booked and will be paid directly by SEPT with DAAD funding. This cost will
not be reimbursed.
Conditions and deadlines
The following deadlines will apply:
• Official invitation letter from SEPT: 8th of July
• Confirmation of participation 15th of July
• Arranging an appointment for Visa application: 15th of July
• Ticket purchase: 15th of August
• Visa approval: 30th of September
