Is it possible to explain today’s high tech society without regards to science and technology? Or is it possible to imagine scientic and technological developments without the inuence of society? Most people living with the closely intertwined science, technology and society would agree that the two cannot be treated separately.

ICISTS-KAIST 2013 aims to portray how science, technology and society form an ideal coexistence and how this relationship has evolved in everyday lives beyond the academic realm.

Delegates exhibit their team project conclusions on a given topic as posters, and speakers evaluate them. Prizes are

awarded to outstanding teams.

We organize various booths and performances for international delegates to share each other's culture.

Delegates and a speaker spend time in small groups to carry out

close-distance sharing of ideas.

The speakers deliver their speeches before the delegates. There are multiple sessions happening simultaneously, and delegates get to choose which lecture to attend.

We look at the big picture of ICISTS-KAIST 2013 and share the

perspectives of renowned speakers from around the world.
