Pemprov Jawa Barat has conducted good e-Government activity by achieving PeGI awards. In reality, there is a problem with the implementation of transaction activity between citizen and government.

Pernprov Jawa Barat in charge of giving information to public and public services carries out development by using e-Governrnent activity. This e-Government activity is also conducted because the presence of policy issued about public information disclosure. E-Government is a technique of providing government information delivered through internet-based media. The seriousness of Pemprov Jawa Barat in conducting e-Governrnent activity has been proven by their ownership of e- Governmenl Roadmap since 2005 and their winning in the event of Petneringkatan E-Government Indonesia (PeGJ) (Indonesian E-Government Grading). Pemprov Jawa Barat achieved the l " PeGI awards in 2011-2013 and became the runner-up in 2014-2015. Achieving these awards Pemprov Jawa proves that thee-Government activities have been good in Indonesia.

1. Background Today Indonesian society uses internet as an information fulfillment medium. Now, information can be easily obtained through internet-based media due to the characteristic of internet media giving people the information easily and fast. The reality that citizen using internet as an information fulfillment medium is a good opportunity to corporate and government, including Pemprov Jawa Barat

Abstract. This research was conducted to find the process of transaction activity between citizen and government through e-Governrnent in West Java Provincial Government (thereafter called Pemprov Jawa Barat). This transaction activity is a two-way communication interaction process to give information and public services better in Pemprov Jawa Barat. This research was conducted using descriptive research method, and qualitative data collection. This research showed that transaction activity process had been implemented in Pemprov Jawa Barat. This transaction activity was conducted through giving government information and responding lo by replying questions and complaints through the website and social media. If some OPD of Pemprov Jawa Barat have SOP more than just interaction through answering questions and complaints, they will make and use another application more than just website and social media. The response to this activity is positive, as indicated with the increasing number of interaction activities between citizen and government after Pemprov Jabar using e-Government to give public services. Pemprov Jawa Barat was recommended to increase the number and to provide more human resource training to improve the quality of transaction activity.
