International Education and Training Partnership Plan 2016-2017

In designing the International Education and Training Strategy to Advance Queensland 2016-2026 (the Strategy) the sector told us that you wanted greater clarity in the events that were being supported by the Queensland Government and local government partners in promoting Queensland as a study destination One of the three enabling initiatives to support the Strategy roll out is the release of an annual International Education and Training (IET) Partnership Plan

The IET Partnership Plan will build on advice from the sector to inform Trade amp Investment Queenslandrsquos (TIQ) education and training annual program of marketing and promotion

The IET Partnership Plan will be co-produced with all sectors and regions with the aim to align collective marketing and promotional efforts It will include information about digital campaigns trade fairs and events cooperative marketing activities alumni events ministerial trade events and inbound familiarisation visits

The first co-produced partnership plan is due to be released in July 2017

Key activities and events ndash January to July 2017This version is a basic roadmap for key activity from January ndash July 2017 It is not yet inclusive of activity at the local level (ie the work of the various Study Clusters) For future versions the intention is to work closely with the sector to gather market intelligence to inform the plan
