Programme (HTTP) in order to create the framework conditions for internationally recognized curricula.

The result is this inter-disciplinary academic research and pharma-covigilance diploma course with integrated practical training at public health institutions offered by the European Society for Quality in Healthcare (ESQH) together with Sigmund Freud University.

For this course a special web-campus has been developed in collaboration with Vienna University of Technology. The innovative SFU methodology of distance learning in cooperation with Vienna University of Technology (SFU Web-Campus) allows for modern, barrier-free, flexible learning accompanied with practical

training experiences besides the lectures and workshops. State-of-the-art technology records and documents the successful completion of academic contents via your personal notebook computer, thus demonstrating the permanently measurable quality of academic teaching and training. All presentations, teaching materials, sourcebooks and law codes are also available for the international circle of course participants in the form of on-line or off-line audio documents.

The university diploma course International Research Management comprises 60 ECTS and 2 semesters with 23 days of lectures each plus 57 days of workshops per semester and concludes with an international valid university diploma. In the

workshops the project work is applied in practice at different healthcare establishments. The participants are divided into small groups – possibly according to their specialisation – and introduced into medical departments with the aim to implement their acquired theoretical knowledge about quality for research and vigilance in practice. The academic course finishes with a written exam and a publication on the implemented quality system together with the consortium.

Innovative LearningAll participants will receive a notebook computer with the complete teaching materials. The notebook computer also serves as a communication tool with the lecturers and for the permanent revision of the acquired knowledge.
