"The Tom Thumb of America", that is how
is known our country because its

feature, the distances are short, so

Boqueron enjoying a cultivated
coffee in the same place where is
located the crater of the dormant
volcano in our capital city San
Salvador, and in just 45 minutes being in one of the best beaches in the
world where you can practice surf!, in the department of La Libertad, this
goes back to El Salvador a very practical country and in a turn for budget
travel.
Climate
The climate in our country is tropical counting only with 2 seasons:
summer from November to April and winter from May to October, with a
temperature between of 24 °C and 30°C, in nearly all times of the year.
Cuisine
Our traditional cuisine is delicious and varied, where our most famous
dish: pupusas, are merely a very exquisite Salvadoran dish made of corn
or rice filled with beans, cheese, pork, chicken, whatever you want!. You
can also enjoy many more traditional dishes or even gourmet food at the
various restaurants around the country. Some of our traditional dishes
are: tamales, fried yucca with pork, “riguas”, indian chicken soup,
“mariscada”; what to drink? Some of our beverages are atol de maíz, atol
“shuco”, chilate, horchata, cebada, and of course if you are in El Salvador
you must taste our first class coffe!!!
Pd. Do you want to know what is a minuta, melcocha,
enrredo, and some other delicious food, come on we are wainting for you?
Our people
How to describe a Salvadoran?
Perhaps the closest answer is the one similar as did Gabriel Garcia
Marquez: "Salvadorans are characterized individualment and for their
sympathy and intelligence and in groups, for their clamor and passion ...
Ah, Salvadorans! ... We cannot live long with them, but you cannot live
without them!!
Dedicated with love to the people of the greatest country in the world!!"
We are known as the eternal smile people, workers, hospitable and
characterized by the spirit of helping others.
