COMPREHENSIVE DISASTER RISK TRANSFER SCHEME FOR ANDHRA PRADESH
Considering the high vulnerability of the state, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh and
Revenue (Disaster Management) Department has decided to develop
Comprehensive Disaster Risk Transfer/Insurance Scheme for the Risk
financing to disaster prone areas of the state. The Risk Financing scheme is
proposed to cover Life, Public and Private Infrastructure, Crops and Live Stock.
Revenue (Disaster Management) Department has undertaken the insurance
Scheme development with the financing of World Bank through Andhra
Pradesh State Disaster Recovery Project (APDRP).

STATE DISASTER RESOURCE NETWORK (SDRN)
1.This database will also enable them to assess the level of
preparedness for specific vulnerabilities and spatial distribution on
GIS mapping.
2.The data collection formats are intended to be filled up by the
line depts./ agencies/ organizations and the whole exercise will be
coordinated by the District Collector.
3.The SDRN data collection through online process.
4.This information system is accessible through the URL
http://ndem.nrsc.gov.in to all government disaster response
officers at the district, state and National level.
