Gavin EvansExecutive Director of Global Blood FundGavin worked for 15 years at England’s NHS Blood and Transplant, approaching 2 million individuals, with all matters related to the recruitment, retention and management of donor. He is highly involved in many organizations based in UK and US and is currently the executive Director of Global Blood Fund and board member.
Gloria AbdoStudent Affair Coordinator, St. Joseph UniversityHaving a Master’s degree in Human resources management, Gloria has been working closely since 2003 with youth in schools and universities. She is currently the student affair coordinator at the St. Joseph University in Lebanon, and a lecturer about “Social Animation” inciting civic engagement.
Yorgui TeyrouzFounder and President, Donner Sang CompterYorgui, a former Lebanese Red Cross paramedic volunteer and scouts leader, initiated a centralized database of voluntary blood donors in Lebanon in 2006. He founded “Donner Sang Compter” in 2010 that has currently 18’000 registered blood donor and more than 250 volunteer promoting the voluntary blood donation cause.
