Procedure for clearing Cache and Cookies

Internet Explorer Fire Fox Google Chrome

Internet Explorer

1. Click on Menu Tools, then selection Internet Option

2. In the Internet Options, under the General tab, click on the delete button under the Browsing

History.

3. Choose the ‘Temporary Internet Files’ , ‘Cookies’ etc and click on the button ‘Delete’ , as shown

in the screen below.

4. A dialog box as shown below will be displayed.

5. Once completed, click on Ok to complete the process.

Google Chrome

1. Click on the button at the extreme right corner of the address bar, as shown below.

2. In the above screen, select the settings option.

3. On clicking the ‘Settings’ option, the following screen will be displayed

4. Click on History and the following screen will be displayed

5. Click on the ‘Clear browsing data..’ button and the following screen will be displayed

6. Select the following options (by unchecking the remaining)

o Browsing history

o Cookies and other site and plug-in data

o Cached images and files.

And change the duration under the field ‘Obliterate the following items from:’ as ‘the beginning

of time’ from ‘Past 1 Hour’

7. Click on the Button ‘Clear browsing data’

8. On clicking the same, the Cache and the Cookies will be cleared and screen will revert back to

settings screen.

Fire Fox

1. Click on the History from the Menu.

2. Click on the ‘Clear Recent History’

3. A new dialog box will be displayed

4. Select the Cookie., Cache and change the ‘time range to Clear ‘ as ‘Every Thing’

5. Click on Clear Now to complete the process
