Specifically the intern will help plan and implement the annual golf tournament, conduct research on managing an online charity auction, donor Thank-a-Thon and researching whether or not to host a weekly charitable bingo fund raiser in Emporia, Virginia. The intern will also assist the development staff with day-to-day fund raising tasks and responsibilities. Requirements: • third-year student or higher • an interest and aptitude for social media and eCommunications • a desire make a positive difference in the lives of emotionally disturbed girls • excellent communication and interpersonal skills • reliable transportation Compensation: Mileage will be paid at a rate of 48.5ȼ per mile to and from the office Questions?
