SUMMERINTERNSHIPPROGRAM2020 Employment – Skill Gap still continues to be one of
the biggest challenge that the industry, academia and the Government is facing. Of the various factors that affect the employability of the students through the campus placements, Concepts, Communication and Confidence play a major role. While the colleges and universities strive to keep themselves updated to the needs of the industry, the gap still seems to widen.
This year, The Computer Society of India, Hyderabad Chapter has come out with a holistic plan to support the community to reduce the Skill Gap. The programs include Tech Talk Sessions from various industry experts, workshops, trainings, mentorship, internship and placement assistance programs.
CSI Summer Internship Program 2020 is one such activity that directly helps the students build the much necessary skills in association with the industry experts. The main objective of unveiling this program is to present a new learning perspective to the students by organizing a series of training and mentorship assistance directly from the experts in the industry.
This program involves the entire community. While students will be the main beneficiaries, the representatives from the academia will be their co-mentors and work along with the industry trainers and mentors and help students to keep up the pace and act as the first line support.
This program also features guest lectures from eminent & successful personalities from the industry in the areas of internship that the students have selected. This program is jointly conducted by CSI Hyderabad Chapter and IEEE Hyderabad Section. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the CSI Summer Internship Program 2020 is converted to a fully online program. For this batch, the Key Tracks are

Students intending to register for this program are requested to ensure the following:
Should have access to a laptop/desktop with internet connectivity
As the project will have to be delivered by working in teams, CSI may use third party software/platforms to facilitate the smooth delivery of the same. Students should abide by the terms and conditions of such third party platforms – however, no additional fee will be charged by the platforms
CSI will nominate a coordinator for each stream before the program starts. Incase, any support/queries have to be addressed, the students are requested to contact the coordinator
At the time of project allotment, the students will randomly grouped into teams and each team will be assigned a co-mentor and mentor and students have to follow the instructions and seek guidance from the respective co-mentor/mentor
