2. Create 2D Sketch by clicking the icon in the upper left corner of the screen.

3. Before clicking on the desired work plane, click on

the “+”sign next to “Origin” in the Browser on the left.

4. Select the XY Plane (Front Plane) to begin your sketch.

5. Carefully push the wheel on the mouse forward “4 ticks” to zoom out for more drawing area. If you move more than 4 or 5 “ticks” you risk making the

drawing area too big which will make the drawing too small to see.

6. Select “Rectangle-Two point” from the draw commands in the upper left.

7. Click the origin of the axis on the drawing area. Slide the cursor up and to the right (DON’T CLICK). Type “1” in for the horizontal dimension, press TAB,

type “1” for the vertical dimension, press enter.

8. Click “Finish Sketch” in the upper right corner.

9. Click “Zoom All” by clicking the magnifying glass on the right.

10. Click the “Extrude” icon in the upper left corner of the screen.

11. Set the extrusion depth on 1”. Move the cursor over the tabs to locate “Direction” of extrusion, change to Direction 2, press enter or click green check.

Save as Cube1.

Follow the steps to Create a “T” Assembly

1. Create a new assembly. Go to I-Pro/New, Assembly(standard).

2. Right click on the drawing area, click “Place Component”. Search for the “Cube1” file, open the file.

3. Place the component by clicking the drawing area. Push the mouse wheel forward to zoom out for more drawing space. Place a total of 6 cubes on the drawing area. Escape to stop. Space them so

they are not touching.

4. Change the color of each cube by selecting the center color wheel at the top of the screen. Select the cube to be changed, click the desired color on the wheel, select the green check or

press enter.

Select the cube to be changed, click the desired color on the wheel, select the green check or press enter.

5. Assemble the cubes to form the letter “T”. Use the “Constrain” tool at the top of the screen.

6. Using the default setting for Constraint Type and Solution, click on the front left edge of the red cube, click the front right edge

of the blue cube. Click APPLY.

7. Click the top front edge of the red cube then the top front edge of the blue cube. Click APPLY.

8. Continue to constrain the edges of the cubes until you have completed the letter “T”.

If you make a mistake, you can delete constraints in the Browser which will allow you to make corrections.
