NEW INTRODUCERS
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q How do I make anintroduction to you?
A Keeping it as simple as possible works thebest. Simply ask the client i they have made
any arrangements to save their Stamp Duty.
This makes it sound more commonplace.
Give them one o our cards and submit the
client details via the Intoducers website.
Q What happens aterthe introduction?
A We will have an initial chat in a totallynon-pressuring manner. I were able to
help well send an email with an illustration
o their savings and basic ino about our
process. Well also supply a website link
with a unique password, so they can access
more detailed inormation i desired. I they
want to proceed we explain to them how
it works and what they need to do, not
orgetting what theyll save. We will connect
them with our solicitors and/or a tax advisor
to decide the best way orward or their
circumstances. The conveyancing takes place
as normal and the client receives their SDLT
savings 3-6 weeks ollowing completion.

BUYERS
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q Why havent I heard o anyonepaying less SDLT beore?
A We see our service as a relatively new solutionto a new problem. New Labour introduced
higher SDLT brackets in 97 on the back o an
already rapidly rising house market. The result
is signicantly higher taxes all round when
acquiring property. The industry operates
on a word o mouth basis so no advertising
would have alerted you to what we do.
Until recently only property proessionals
used tax planning to make their property
purchases more tax ecient but now it is
ltering down to everyday home buyers.
Q How does it work?
A Through a combination o intricate taxplanning by tax advisors and simultaneous
specialised conveyancing carried out by our
property solicitors. It all comes together
at the end o the transaction giving you a
signicant reduction on what you would
have paid without using our services.
We insure your tax planning ees so that in
the extremely unlikely event HMRC prove the
planning doesnt work [rst-tier tribunal],
and demand ull payment o the outstanding
tax, we reund your ees in ull. This has
NEVER happened in the history o the tax.

Q Is it a loophole you use to save thetax? Why dont the Governmentclose these loopholes?
A December 2006 brought variations tothe Finance Act o 2003. Section 75a was
introduced to counter certain SDLT avoidance
strategies. A lot o loopholeswere closed
at that time. The March 2011 Budget saw
the same moves and again, certain schemes
were closed down by adjustments in the
tax legislation. We, in response, constantly
develop new plans and take continual advice
rom top legal experts in the eld. HMRC also
ask conveyancers and solicitors to disclose
SDLT avoidance strategies and consequently
are ully aware o the techniques used.
Nevertheless, you are perectly entitled to
arrange your tax aairs in a tax efcient
manner. This is very similar to the majority
o all businesses that attempt to pay the
minimum o income and corporation tax
each year. What we do is simply another
orm o tax planning that enables anyone
to benet when buying their new home.
Q How long will this proceduretake and will it cause delays dueto the specialised approach?
A To ensure the best and astest tax solution weneed to be introduced at the start o the process.
We have plans where we need two weeks
notice prior to Exchange and also plans where
we can implement the savings post Exchange.
As long as we are involved early enough it
wont add a minute to your conveyancing
process. The clients savings are released within
3-6 weeks o the completion date.

Q Can I use my own solicitoror the conveyancing on mynew property purchase?
A Its better not to. A novice will slow downthe process and it is open to error. Most o
our clients have used our preerred solicitors
which is the best way to get the job done.
It is complicated and requires experience
and knowledge to ensure the process works.
Q What will I pay or this service?
A You dont physically pay us anything. You pay your SDLT in ull at the usual time,
just prior to completion, and subsequently
receive your savings. Our ees come out o
the SDLT residing in your solicitors client
account post completion. The ees vary
between 1.5% + vat to 1.67% + vat depending
on the purchase price which is a lot less than
the 3% or 4% youd have to pay otherwise.
This represents a 40% - 60% saving on what
youd have paid without using our services.
Q Will I be out o pocket i theplan is unsuccessul?
A No. We promise to reund any and all eesthat we have taken should the plan prove
to be unsuccessul. This is through our ee
insurance which runs or 4-years or most
o our clients. This long period is unique
in the market place as ar as we know and
gives you total peace o mind. Since 2004
not one completed tax plan has been
unsuccessul. We hold a 100% success rate!

Q It cant be legalA The strategies we use are all supported by
Legal Opinions rom leading experts in the
eld o Stamp Duty Land Tax i.e. Patrick
Cannon and Reg Nock. This means top
tax barristers and QCs have said our tax
planning strategies comply with current tax
law and work to save the client money.
Q I its so easy, why isnteveryone doing it?
A A requent comment is that its all too goodto be true. The answer is quite simple it
isnt that easy. Development o these plans
takes an enormous amount o time, money
and eort on the part o all involved. The
act that it is so painless and easy or you is
a refection o the time and eort invested.
I this makes sense to you and youd like to
explore working together urther, why not
contact me to set up a meeting? I can answer
all your questions and allay any ears you
may have. They are probably common ones.
I thats not possible please call/email me.
