The Thermodynamic Collector circulates the refrigerant liquid where energy is absorbed from the

ambient temperature.

This transforms the liquid into a gas, which carries the heat energy to the

Solar Assisted Heat Pump.

The Solar Assisted Heat Pump compresses the gas which increases the temperature.

The spent gas reverts back to a liquid which flows back in the panel, allowing the process to repeat.

Simultaneously, a water pump pulls cold water from the cylinder into the Solar Assisted Heat Pump. Our LMTBs both

retro fit onto your existing cylinder. Alternatively the SAHP and cylinder are within the same housing on our BMTB .

The process continues until the water in the cylinder reaches 55OC.

Once this is achieved the system goes into standby mode.

Our Solar Assisted Heat Pumps, along with an external thermodynamic panel, provide hot water to either the internal cylinder or an existing cylinder.

Heats Water Day and Night in almost all weathers, all year. ‘A Fridge in reverse’ and now as quiet as one! With an independent 43dB(A) sound test result*.

When installing the Solar Assisted Heat Pump, the Thermodynamic Collector (panel) can be installed on the wall or roof.

At Magic Thermodynamic Box we are passionate about the

science of thermodynamics and how this relates to engineering.

By studying the concept we innovate and design functional

renewable energy and energy saving products.

We learnt very early on that our products were only as good as the

team behind them, which is why each member of the team is an

expert in their field - constantly striving to adapt and improve our

products, to ensure that all Magic Thermodynamic Box products are

better than the competition and built to last. We are announcing an

updated version of the Little Magic Thermodynamic Box, redesigned

on the inside and outside.

Little and Big Magic Thermodynamic Boxes

Solar Assisted Heat Pumps

From our revamped LMTB III to the world’s first MCS approved Solar Assisted Heat Pump, the LMTB IV, our family of

Thermodynamic products, including our 130L and 200L cylinder - the BMTB, now offers an option for every installation

The LMTB IV and BMTB have been developed to be faster and more efficient than ever

Continuing to generate your hot water day and night in all weather conditions.

• LMTB III & IV retro fit to an existing cylinder

• LMTB III & IV compatible with both vented and sealed systems

• Tested proven technology• Works throughout the year, day

and night • Minimum maintenance required

• Heats water to 55OC • Thermodynamic Collector can be mounted on an external wall or roof

• 5 year manufacturer’s guarantee

LMTB III

The Little Magic Thermodynamic Box III is our innovative Solar Assisted Heat Pump designed to retro-fit to all existing hot water cylinders.

Utilising thermodynamic principles the Little Magic Thermodynamic Box captures energy from the air surrounding the thermodynamic panel, transferring this energy to water within the existing cylinder to efficiently and cost effectively heat domestic hot water.

The Little Magic Thermodynamic Box III offers a fantastic introduction to our product range.

The Little Magic Thermodynamic Box IV is our latest, most innovative Solar Assisted Heat Pump to date, designed to retro-fit to all existing hot watersystems.

Exploiting advanced state-of-the-art components coupled with the new Blueberry intelligent controller this is the most technologically advanced retro-fit Solar Assisted Heat Pump to date.

MCS accredited and ERP A rated The Little Magic Thermodynamic Box IV is the ultimate retro-fit solution to your hot water requirements.

The Big Magic Thermodynamic Box* combines our innovative Solar Assisted Heat Pump technology with a 130L and 200L indirect, unvented, stainless steel, A rated KIWA approved cylinder.

Relying on the same thermodynamic principles as our existing SAHP range, the Big Magic Thermodynamic Box transfers this energy to water within its casing, to efficiently and cost effectively heat domestic hot water.

The BMTB is the all in one solution to your hot water requirements, enabling us to offer a complete range of Solar Assisted Heat Pumps, suitable for every installation.

LMTB IV BMTBProduct testingOperating costs of the LMTB

Using MCS approved UKAS test results, SAP 2012 and Energy Saving Trust data the running cost per year for our LMTB III and LMTB IV across 2, 3, 4 and 5 people households can be compared.

Assumptions -The following are used in our modelling and calculations

• All test figures are based on the average climate condition under ErP1.

• An electrical consumption cost of 14.05p/kWh2.

• All test figures are based on each household, setup to include a 200L cylinder.

• No solar gain has been taken into account on any test figures.
