1st in Class & Best in Class | As the first lighting manufacturer to integrate Philips’ Fortimo LED Downlight Module, Pathway has always been at the forefront of luminaire development, solving design and technical challenges associated with LED lighting application—thermal management, lamp life, color consistency, scalability, maintenance, and glare. Pathway is committed to eliminating design barriers and in working closely with lighting specifiers, to create functional, comfortable, memorable visual environments.

Thermal Management | in conjunction with a compact aluminum heat sink, all Fortimo LED Downlight Modules rated at 2000 initial lumens and higher are cooled by Nuventix’s SynJet active cooling module. The SynJet module—a low-power, effectively silent, advanced cooling technology—creates turbulent, pulsated air jets, which can be directed between the fins of the heat sink, resulting in high heat transfer coefficient air flows that provide optimum thermal operating environment for the Fortimo LED Downlight Module.

Color Consistency | remote phosphor technology, a color mixing chamber and tight LED binning work in concert to ensure color consistency from fixture to fixture, with no visible LEDs, and virtually no color shift over the life of the engine.

Scalability & Maintenance | all Pathway LED luminaires are engineered to accommodate future improvements in LED technology. As Philip’s Fortimo LED Downlight Modules continue to improve in performance, updating installed luminaires in the field will be as easy as replacing the Fortimo Module and/or its intelligent Xitanium driver—maintenance that is simple, familiar, and in all cases can be done from below the ceiling.

Include a complete line of recessed-, surface-, and pendant-mounted LED lighting solutions, engineered to provide lighting specifiers with reliable, high-performance, sustainable LED products.

LED AS CFL DOWNLIGHT REPLACEMENT

… i t ’ s a b o u t t i m e

Light Output | when comparing CFL and LED downlights, it is important that the analysis is a true apples-to-apples comparison—one where lumen rating is discussed in terms of delivered lumens, not in terms of initial lumens, for both systems. Pathway Lighting’s design team uses today’s most advanced LED engines to deliver lumen output that exceeds the performance and equivalent efficacy of even the most efficient CFL downlight (approx. efficiency 70% or 45-50 lm/w) on the market today.

Life | superior thermal management leads to LED products that are rated at 50,000 hours to 70% light output (L70), which is four times the life of a typical CFL equivalent. Longer life means lower cost of ownership.

Dimmability | an intelligent LED driver that provides 0-10V dimming to 10% comes standard at no extra charge, making our LED systems cost competitive with CFL-based lighting fixtures running on expensive electronic dimming ballasts. Our products are compatible with major dimming control systems and protocols. Please contact factory for assistance and further information.

Sustainability | unlike CFL-based products, LEDs are mercury-free and consume less energy, creating a smaller ecological footprint.

Peace of Mind | all of our LED products are backed by an industry standard, 5-Year limited warranty.

Cost comparison above assumes labor cost is incurred for each lamp, ballast or driver replacement. LED module and driver are replaced once during the 20-year period. CFL on 12 hour/start has a rated lamp life to 20,000 hours; lamp replaced in years 6, 12, 19. CFL on shorter on/off cycle has a rated life of 12,000 hours; lamp replaced in years 3, 7, 11, 15, 19. Ballast replaced once. All component and labor costs are based on market levels at the time of printing.
