• is an innovative and tested educational model designed for the health sector

• promotes the development of a sustainable and integrated approach to health worldwide encompassing health promotion, prevention and treatment

Evolution of the IMHL concept

• builds on two successful programs – the International Masters Program in Practicing Management (IMPM) and the McGill-McConnell Program for National Voluntary Sector Leaders – both inspired by Dr. Henry Mintzberg, named one of the most influential management thinkers in the world by the Financial Times

• is designed around “leadership mindsets”, a dynamic model to explore different realms of management: the ability to transform people, organizations, systems and their contexts

• offers a tremendous opportunity to develop health leaders at the worldwide level by drawing on the international expertise of McGill’s Faculties of Medicine and Management
