Unit Specifications
Evidence RequirementsAssessors should use their professional judgement, subject knowledge and experience, and understanding of their learners to determine the most appropriate ways to generate evidence
Evidence could be gathered in combination with other Outcomes if possible, either from the Drama Skills Unit or the Production Skills Unit or from a combination of both. Evidence could also be gathered for individual Outcomes where appropriate.
Unit Specifications for Production Skills at National 5
For this Unit learners will be required to provide evidence of Production Skills by:
generating ideas for a production concept analysing a range of production roles applying a range of production skills evaluating their own work and that of others
The evidence generated from the above will be the body of evidence available for the purpose of internal assessment and verification.
Unit Assessment Support Packages - purpose
UASPs can be used to:
• Assess your candidates
•Adapt for your own assessment programmes
• Help you develop your own assessments

Provide broad-based tasks – allow assessors to choose appropriate context and forms of evidence
Exemplify a range of approaches to generating assessment evidence
Give information on the type of evidence which could be gathered and how this is to be judged against Assessment Standards
