What’s so special about ELCViet?
Every class is given the privilege of having two teachers: one Singaporean and one Vietnamese.
Each student is given a set of study notes which are written in English and Vietnamese: to allow self-study.
Lengthy allowance of 4 hours in-class session, allowing students to experience bilingual lessons.
Social-driven business that advocates meaningful contributions and activities to the society.
ELCViet’s Study Notes
Caters to different needs of learners.
Key essentials such as irregular verbs, phrasal verbs,
grammar, pronunciations, conversations and listening are
included.
Students give input on how the notes should be improved
to meet their needs in general.
Impact
Through our effort:
Most of our students are conversant with basic English grammar and irregular verbs.
They are able to write simple sentences and articulate it clearly with the correct pronunciation.
From no schooling background and no contact with English language to good knowledge in the English language.
Students see themselves as an essential part of the society.
New initiative
Hired a marketing associate and translator to translate
publicly-accessible news into Vietnamese language for
Vietnamese who live in Singapore.
Objective: to raise awareness among Vietnamese in
Singapore and to reduce possible offences due to
misguidance.
Linh Tuyen is leading this initiative.
Moving forward…
Establish operation in Singapore and Vietnam.
Work with Singapore and Vietnam businesses to provide
jobs to students.
Partner with universities to provide more opportunities
to students.
