Draw a grid using one inch squares on your picture. Label the vertical squares with letters starting with A. Label the horizontal squares with numbers starting with 1. When you crop your picture, make it the same size as the paper you will be drawing on so that you will get the same number of squares. For example, I am using a 7x10 paper pad. So, I cropped my image to get it as close to 7x10 as I could.
Start with square A1 and draw what you see on your picture grid in square A1.
Continue one square at a time, focusing on only the lines you see in the square, versus what you see in the over all picture. Draw one square at a time.
Continue drawing each square until your picture is complete. Then, finish off with medium of your choice.
