INTRODUCTION: Plagiarism is the practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own. This can be considered as crime. It is absolutely a growing problem at universities, resulting the students to rely heavily on technology which is as everyone knows;our 'superman', the internet. Therefore, the issue that might existed during Festival Konvokesyen Universiti Malaya (FESKUM) will be the plagiarism, on how they managed to be graduated, with or without plagiarism?OBJECTIVE: In this research, we will see our graduated students' view about this issue, the bad and good impact of this issue and how to manage this problem. *This is me during the FESKUM, with a graduated student from engineering department.

GOOD SIDE

Taking idea from the internet such as articles, document, and journal from other writers are basically wrong, but under certain condition it can be legal. We must put quotation marks and a proper citation at the end of the articles, claiming to have used another source only and only for the informations. Therefore, the good part in 'legal plagiarism' is that the combination of ideas of students and ideas from the internet and technology will form a strong and cohessive final abstract.BAD SIDEStudents will leaning to be dependent on technology and copying what others had done before, and eventually students does not acquire a greater understanding of the materials as the result of the research. It is also considered as a silent crime to have copied what before us has done. It will be a waste to be given an assignment to them but at the end they get nothing and has no input. This is one of the factor contribute to 'non quality graduated students'.

SOLUTION AND SUGGESTIONTo make sure the students stop doing plagiarism, lecturers or professors should have use technolgy provided as well to discover whether their student copy and paste all the information given on the internet or not. There is an online checker that can be use by lecturers to know the weightage and percentage on how often the same exact words from internet being used. Apart from that, students him or herself must has self-reflection to not plagiarise. This can be done by doing their own idea and reflection at first place by doing their own reseaches without struggling to investigate what is in the internet. Another way to make sure that nobody can 'steal' their idea is that by having copyright for their idea. Copyright is the exclusive legal right, given to an originator or an assignee to print, publish, perform, film, or record literary, artistic, or musical material, and to authorize others to do the same.

CONCLUSIONBased on this research, i found out that most of the graduated students in Universiti Malaya did not plagiarise, but they insist that they used the ideas only for their assignments. They used science and technology wisely, and most of the lecturers were using the technology as well to rate their works. They realised on how important to understand what they were doing in university because they know that those assignments were given to them on purpose which is to prepare them for the real field work later after they graduated. They basically do not mind about the marks given but they put more priority on how to understand and take all the knowledge that they can gain while doing the course work and projects. One of the graduated students that i interviewed said,'if we lose the game, make sure that we dont lose the lesson'.
